Friends is hiring a Youth Programs Coordinator

Friends of Baxter State Park is hiring a full-time Youth Programs Coordinator to join our team! The Youth Programs Coordinator plays a lead role in delivery of our two summer youth programs in the Katahdin Region: the Maine Youth Wilderness Program (MYWLP) and the Baxter Youth Conservation Corps (BYCC). Responsibilities are focused primarily on program delivery, as well as communications and outreach work in support of our mission. The ideal candidate will be based in one of the communities of the Katahdin Region. Extensive travel throughout Baxter State Park and the Katahdin region will be required. This is a salaried, full-time, year-round position focused on youth, wilderness, and outdoor recreation.
